Breast Cancer Support Program
Supporting survivors with complimentary treatments designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident in your skin.
A Program Rooted in Care, Dignity, and Choice
Breast cancer treatment can change the body in ways that are physical, emotional, and deeply personal. Scars, radiation marks, changes in skin, surgery, and the lasting effects of treatment can all influence how someone feels in their own skin. Many cancer survivors experience changes in body image and self-esteem after treatment, and support during this stage of survivorship can be meaningful.
Radiation mark removal is a small service, but for some survivors, it can represent something much larger. It may offer a sense of closure. It may help soften a daily reminder. It may help someone feel more comfortable looking in the mirror, getting dressed, going to the beach, or simply moving through life without that visible connection to treatment.
This program exists for those moments. Quiet, personal, and often deeply meaningful.
In Honour of : Kathleen Proctor
This program is dedicated to the memory of Kathleen Proctor, whose strength and perspective continue to inspire everything it stands for.
She was always a light, even on the dullest days. When she received her diagnosis, she faced it with quiet strength. Despite a life marked by grief and disappointment, she treated it as just another challenge to overcome. As she had done so many times before, she fought not for herself alone, but for the time it would give her with her children and grandchildren.
When asked what kept her going, her answer was always the same. She wanted to see each of her grandchildren graduate and to spend time playing with her great grandchildren.
After her breast surgery at 89, she was offered a chemotherapy pill to reduce the risk of recurrence. When told that one of the side effects could be losing her sense of taste, she declined without hesitation. When reminded that the cancer could return years later, she simply responded, “You do realize how old I am? If it comes back when I’m 97, that’s okay.”
Her outlook was grounded in clarity and courage. She understood what mattered most, and she lived accordingly. This program is a reflection of that spirit, rooted in dignity, resilience, and the belief that every person deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin.

Why Radiation Mark Removal Matters
Radiation alignment tattoos are often very small, but their emotional weight can be much larger than their size. They are placed for medical accuracy during radiation treatment, helping ensure the treatment area is properly aligned. Once treatment is complete, those marks may remain permanently unless removed.
Some survivors choose to keep them. Others want them gone. There is no right or wrong choice.
For those who do wish to remove them, laser tattoo removal can help gradually fade the pigment over a series of treatments. The process is customized to the individual, based on the marks, skin type, treatment area, and overall suitability.
More than anything, this service is about giving someone back a measure of control. After a diagnosis, treatment plan, appointments, surgeries, and medical decisions, even a small choice about one’s own body can feel powerful.
Our Commitment to Survivors
At DermaEnvy Skincare, this program is one small way we can support people in our communities who have experienced breast cancer. We know that survivorship is personal. For some, moving forward means celebrating strength. For others, it means quietly letting go of reminders they no longer wish to carry.
Both are deserving of care.
Our role is not to define what healing should look like. Our role is to provide a compassionate option, performed in a professional clinical environment, for those who feel ready to take this step.
Take the Next Step

Radiation mark removal is performed using laser technology designed to break down tattoo pigment in the skin. Over time, the body naturally clears the fragmented pigment, helping the marks gradually fade.

Your provider will explain what can reasonably be expected during your consultation.

Medical clearance may be recommended in some cases, depending on your treatment history, medications, healing, immune status, or any ongoing medical concerns.
