DermaEnvy Skincare Expands Corporate Footprint in Nova Scotia as Atlantic Canada’s Medical Aesthetics Market Grow

DermaEnvy Skincare continues Acquisitions ahead of its 10th Anniversary

March 2, 2026  BEDFORD, NS   – 

DermaEnvy Skincare, Atlantic Canada’s largest network of laser and medical aesthetics clinics by clinic count, has acquired two franchised locations in Dartmouth and New Minas, strengthening its corporate footprint across the region as it approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026.

The acquisition brings the company to eight corporate-owned clinics across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, with additional franchised operations in Newfoundland and Ontario. It also secures 5 existing jobs and is expected to create additional roles at these locations within 12 months. 

The Nova Scotia acquisition follows almost exactly one year from the last acquisition in March 2025 of four previously franchised clinic locations across New Brunswick + Prince Edward Island. “Which have integrated well into our existing corporate clinic network, with those locations exceeding our growth expectations since the transitions" said Chris Richards, Chief Operations Officer of DermaEnvy Skincare.

Richards joined the DermaEnvy leadership team in July 2024, and has over 20 years experience in the cosmetology / medical aesthetics industry in Atlantic Canada, having also led the day-to-day operations of another large salon / spa chain with 21 locations across Atlantic Canada. "Our goal is to provide exceptional client experiences for laser, skincare and medical aesthetic treatments accessible to all Atlantic Canadians at a mid-market price point, with a brand they can trust.” said Richards.

DermaEnvy Skincare will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in 2026 having steadily grown from its initial single treatment room clinic in Dieppe, NB to becoming Atlantic Canada’s largest brand of Laser, Skincare + Medical Aesthetics by clinic count operating 10 clinics across 5 provinces with headquarters in Bedford, NS.

The brand has been preparing its clinics for its Anniversary year with upgrades and updates network wide to “elevate the client experience” said Richards. “Ensuring a consistent client experience is important, so our clinics are all being brought up to our brand standards - from flooring, paint, creating additional treatment rooms, we want to be looking our best every day for our clients, and for our Anniversary year” 

Significant investments in the latest in medical aesthetics laser technology have also been made in the lead up to the Anniversary year. The rollout of this additional technology ensures the ability to offer Diode Laser Hair Removal for all skin types, Advanced Corrective IPL for targeted pigmentation and ProLift HIFU Non Surgical Face Lifts at clinic locations in Halifax NS, Charlottetown PE, Sydney NS and St. John’s NL and this equipment will continue to rollout throughout the rest of the year and into 2027.
